ACEC California Member ARCADIS has been recognized with an Engineering Excellence Honor Awards for their work on the Hinkley Whole-House Replacement Water Program, a project to remove hexavalent chromium from domestic drinking water wells. The intent of the Awards is to recognize outstanding achievements in engineering and land surveying projects completed by California firms. The ARCADIS-led team successfully completed the groundbreaking design, fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning of the Whole-House Replacement Water Program on schedule. The treatment units consistently achieve the required standard for hexavalent chromium.
“The design and implementation of the Hinkley Whole-House Replacement Water Program showcases ARCADIS’ commitment to applying innovative solutions to the most challenging projects,” said Gary Coates, CEO for ARCADIS US.
“Every day these firms work in collaboration with public and private sectors and state and local agencies to help build a better California,” said Brad Diede ACEC California Executive Director. “It’s with great accolade that we honor their work.”
