It’s here! The ACEC California Scholarship Foundation has announced that applications are now being accepted for the 2017-2018 academic year. Each year, ACEC California’s Scholarship Foundation seeks to help bright, motivated engineering and land-surveying students attain their academic goals. These students must be enrolled in California universities in order to receive support through scholarship foundation awards.
Applications have been distributed to every public and private university in California that has an engineering department. Students can also access the application online here. Awards generally vary in amounts from $1,000 to $7,000 per student.
Since its inception in 1977, the ACEC California Scholarship Foundation has awarded more than $570,000 in cash grants to hundreds of aspiring engineering students. Last year, the Scholarship Foundation awarded $25,000 to eight undergraduate and three postgraduate students.

The state awards are in addition to local chapter scholarship awards, enabling students to access separate scholarship funds through both ACEC California and its local chapters.
ACEC California’s Scholarship Foundation is funded through the generous contributions of individuals and members firms, as well as fundraising efforts through the annual ACEC California Scholarship raffle and silent auction.
